Nestling on a hillside in the heart of a stunningly beautiful setting situated between the forest and the beach, the lodges and their front porches all enjoy an amazing view across the ocean, where you can tuck into a delicious breakfast watching an incredible sunrise or a colourful end to the day with a dinner under the stars. The leafy natural setting surrounding your lodge protects your privacy while at the same time bringing you all the benefits of its cool shade. Life in a lodge is unbelievably relaxing. Superbly produced, featuring a slender architectural style making extensive use of wood and traditional materials such as rosewood or sohihy, the warm brown shades and subtle highlights of your lodge make this the perfect place to unwind. The roofs produced from Ravinala trees (also known as the “Traveller’s Tree”) offer excellent natural ventilation. Each lodge has its own character. The furniture and decorative items have been obtained from Madagascan antique dealers, artists and craftsmen, with the result being a subtle combination of ethnic character and modernity.

The French chef invites you to discover some highly original and refined dishes, always produced with the goal of delighting diners and providing a pleasant surprise for their taste buds. The "Slow Food Attitude" adopted by the chef brings you the best selection of products, all carefully chosen according to the time of year, in addition to all the assurance of fair trade with local producers. The fresh products which we select are obtained from both our own organic kitchen garden and our main gardens in which we grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and aromatic plants of all kinds, while the amazing fish and crustaceans are delivered to us each day by local fishermen onboard their pirogue boats.
Scuba-diving or snorkelling are amongst guests’ favourite activities. As it is that the hotel is just few minutes away from the water guests can admire and explore the sheer beauty of these nearby ocean depths.
Fishing lovers will be spoiled for choice, including sport fishing, troll fishing, bottom fishing or popper fishing among others. Whatever your favourite type of fishing, our guides are on hand to take you to the best spots!
If you are looking to enjoy some beach volleyball, beach racketball, badminton, frisbees or pirogue/canoe trips, kite flying, reading or parlour games, the equipment needed to enjoy yourself is made available free of charge in the main lodge or at the beach.
