The camp nestles amongst a series of small dunes and looks out, to the South, towards the high dunes. Nearby there are dunes that rise to 300m. This British owned camp is perhaps the finest in Morocco. The attention to detail is remarkable. No expense has been spared on the tents and fixtures and fittings. Soft duvets, cotton linen, fluffy towels, warm bathrobes & high quality soaps and shampoos are a small part of what is offered. The camp is managed by the expert locally raised Berber, Bobo. Bobo speaks excellent English, French and Spanish and his knowledge of the desert and the nomads of the region brings you an insight into a way of life that is unique. His staff are very helpful & the service and food is first class. The camp is made up with Five accommodation tents, a dining tent, a sitting room tent and a tent that has recliners. The carpeted walkways from the accommodation tents all lead to the central open fireplace. Here, in the evenings, the staff will entertain you with local songs and music. Bobo is an internationally recognised folk singer and drummer.
Each of the luxurious tents is spacious and comfortable. Each tent is equipped with the highest quality mattresses, linen and pillows, and furnished with wall-to-wall oriental style rugs, solar-powered lighting and handcrafted furniture. Each tent also boasts individual en suite bathroom facilities.
Breakfast and dinner are typically served under the stars. Cold drinks including beer and wine are always made available for guests enjoyment. Sitting for meals is done in the typical Berber style on pouffes and mattresses both outside and under the cover of a tent.
