Riad Slitine is in the heart of the Old City, just a couple of minutes on foot from Jemaa El Fna square and the bazaars, close to the Bahia and Badi Palaces, the Tombs of the Saadian Kings and the Royal Palace.
Formerly the dwelling-place of important dignitaries in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries,this magnificently restored riad covering an area of over 1000m2 has conserved its original architectural features and is built around four patios filled with white roses, palm trees, orange trees and banana plants.
The riad comprises just 8 elegant double rooms, which makes for a wonderfully intimate feel. Each room also has an en-suite bathroom, decked in marbled or gilded trim. Other features in the riad include: 2 sunny courtyards, a heated pool (with marble-fountain and counter-current facility), jacuzzi, hammam, spa treatment rooms, dining room, spacious lounge and an excellent terrace, with viewing-tower and sun-deck.
