Caravane du Sud Royale

The Caravane du Sud is a collection of intimate desert bedoiun style camps located across the desert dunes of Zagora.  Offering a variety of tented desert accommodation types, the Caravane du Sud is offers guest comfort and eco-friendly solitude in its four Bivouac Royale Camps, the Bivouac Nakhla, the Bivouac L'erglihoudi, the Bivouac Chegaga and the Bivouac Tizi.

    Bivouac Nakhla

    Bivouac Nakhla is situated on the dunes of Nakhla where nomadic tents are manned by experienced field men in the tradition berbère. Guests will enjoy this authentic style camp consisting of Nomadic black tents installed between the palms of the Draa Valley and the mountains. This camp is ideal for visitors who do not have enough time to head out to the Sahara, but would like to experience the epic beauty of this lonely desert. This camp is 14 km away from Zagora, access to the camp will be via camels or 4x4 vehicle from Zagora.

      Bivouac L'erglihoudi

      Bivouac L'erglihoudi is situated on the dunes of Nakhla where nomadic tents are manned by experienced field men in the tradition berbère. Guests will enjoy this authentic style camp consisting of Nomadic black tents installed at the heart of the great dunes of Erg Glihoudijolie. Guest will have access to the camp camels after they've made the journey from Oladriss.

        Bivouac Chegaga

        The Bivouac Chegaga is a dream bivouac jewel of the collection located in the heart of the largest desert dunes in Morocco. The Nomad tents are mounted in the Berber tradition by a highly experienced, field tested staff. Surrounded by a fire in the sky, each guest will truly enjoy this rare camp category, completely unplugged from the rest of the world. The camp is accessed via the old Timbuktu track, and then across the Hamada du Draa and some Berber villages situated on the bank of the Draa.

          Bivouac Tizi

          The Bivouac Tizi is also situated within the large Moroccan desert dunes. The Nomad tents are manned by local Berber experts who try to keep where possible the traditions of these amazing desert people.

            Activities

            The hosts can organize 90-minute camel rides, 15-minute four-by-four rides, and excursions free of charge. An entertainment staff is also available.
