Lango Camp is tucked away in the South Central section of the Republic of the Congo's Odzala-Kokoua National Park. The dining room, lounge and bar area are all on raised decks overlooking the Lango bai. The camp consists of six creatively designed guest rooms that are inspired from the designs of the local B'Aka Pygmy groups. Each room has a 360 degree wraparound viewing walkway to observe various wildlife. This secluded camp provides guests with the opportunity to explore the rain-forest, its rivers, and Lango Bai via game drives, walks, and pirogues.
Each room features twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower, mosquito net and a fan. Also, environmentally friendly soaps and shampoos are supplied in each room. The rooms also feature a private terrace that offers a stunning 360 view of the bai. Lastly, the wooden pathways that connect each room to the public areas offer privacy for the guests.
Enjoy dining in the dining room or on the deck of the camp, where guests have the option of traditional Congo dishes or popular western dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The highly trained culinary team uses local products where possible to create authentic meals.
Activities at Lango Camp are a combination of walking and boating, while some driving is included in other activities. Activities include viewing of the forest wildlife such as various primate species and charismatic birds at certain locations such as the salines and the camp itself, overlooking the bai. Guests can also travel to the savannah on foot, or boating on the Lekoli River.
