Lake Kivu Serena Hotel is located in the Rwandan resort town of Gisenyi, on the shores of Lake Kivu, the sixth largest lake in Africa. Within several hours drive of both the Rwandan capital, and the glorious Volcanoes National Park (home of the world famous mountain gorillas), it overlooks its own private beach and offers; 66 luxury rooms, executive suites and family accommodation, a panoramic restaurant, indoor and beachside bars, a luxury swimming pool, and the ‘Maisha' Health Centre (offering an extensive range of health and beauty regimes, boating, swimming, volley ball, tennis, fishing, hiking and trekking). The hotel also boasts a world-class fully-integrated Conference Centre.

Luxury Suite

The six Luxury Suites are roughly 40 sqm and offer a king-sized bed, luxury bathroom with both tub and shower, furnished balcony, integrated work space, private sitting room (with guest washroom) and furnished veranda with lake views. Room amenities include minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, free WIFI, satelite television, telephone, private balcony overlooking the lake, hair driers, electronic safe, top quality toiletries, wake up calls and a private seating area with separate WC.

Standard

Each of the 66 Standard Rooms (25 m) offer one queen-sized double bed or two queen-sized double beds and a luxury bathroom. All of the rooms are presented in typically pan-African style with balconies and extensive views of the lake. In room facilities include 24-hour room service, telephone, in-room satellite TV, private safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, hair driers, and a dedicated porter/concierge service. While most of the rooms are designated ‘non-smoking', smoking rooms can be arranged with prior notice.
