An outstanding example of hospitality in the hotel industry, the Cape Heritage Hotel is recognized throughout Cape Town for its unique style and first class treatment. Situated in Heritage Square, the 15 rooms embrace a historic element while keeping to contemporary needs. Each bedroom is decorated carefully, with immense space and character. Dine at any of the nearby restaurants recommended by the hotel. Each venue promises its own experience, with spices and flavors to suit all sorts of guests. Enjoy everything from African cuisine to deli style concoctions. Later, stroll through the square and get to know the city. Otherwise, lounge in the hotel courtyard and mingle with other guests. The hotel is also equipped with a gym and swimming pool.
Situated in Heritage Square in the heart of Cape Town, the Cape Heritage is a boutique four star hotel that is historic yet contemporary, intimate yet lively, and stylish, yet cosy. Originally built in 1771, the hotel has 15 individually decorated bedrooms, that not only retain the charm of the past but are also equipped with an array of modern comforts. The hotel opens out onto a courtyard which houses the oldest living grapevine in South Africa. Meals can be enjoyed al fresco in either the courtyard, or one of the six vibrant restaurants in Heritage Square.
Whilst the Cape Heritage offers a wealth of modern comforts, it retains its age-old charm and character. Each of the 15 bedrooms are individually decorated and have been designed to retain the original architectural style. Most of the floorboards are 200 year old Cape Yellowwood and burnished hardwood. Throughout the hotel sash windows reach up to high beamed teak ceilings and the original plasterwork preserved to showcase the original workmanship. And it’s luxurious too. There are three categories of rooms – standard(7), luxury(6) and suites(2). All are of a good size - the luxury rooms are extremely spacious and 'eye catching', whilst both suites have a comfortable living room as well.
