Overview
Ukhozi is situated in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, at the end of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. The Reserve incorporates the Kariega and Bushmans Rivers and is 14 km from Kenton-on-Sea and 141 km from Port Elizabeth. This family-owned private game reserve comprises nearly 9000 hectares of pristine wilderness that spans across five different ecosystems. Guests can enjoy the riverine forest, the valley bushveld, the savannah grasslands, fynbos, and acacia woodlands. The reserve is home to more than 25 species including Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, White Rhino, Hippo, Hyena, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Warthog and a variety of Antelope. More than 280 species of birds nest on the Reserve.
