A luxury safari lodge that offers gracious Edwardian style, Long Lee Manor is situated in the 25,000 hectare private Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. Set amongst manicured gardens, ponds, terraces, and verandas, Long Lee Manor is slightly elevated with extensive views over the open, expansive wildlife plains. Spaciously spread over extensive indoor and outdoor grounds, the guest areas in the manor house include a comfortable indoor lounge, a bar opening up to a covered veranda, indoor and outdoor dining facilities, a wine cellar, shady outside terrace, two swimming pools with sun loungers, a fitness centre and steam room, gift shop, and relaxation retreat with two therapy rooms, a steam room and a sauna.
Originally built in 1910, this beautifully restored double story manor house offers 15 luxury rooms and suites from a bygone era. Sleeping a maximum of two adults, all rooms and suites are spacious and feature en suite bathrooms with a separate bath and shower, air-conditioning, television with selected satellite channels, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, and a balcony or patio.

Sumptuously prepared meals are enjoyed in the main dining room, under the Pepper Tree, or around the open blazing fire at the Barn. A river boma offers an outdoor option for meals. The Shamwari wine list is specially selected and includes a choice of 12 red and 12 white South African wines. A further selection of rare and fine wines and imported French champagne is also available. A selection of Cuban cigars are on offer from the humidor.
Between game drives, guests can laze around one of the two pools, relax in the beautifully appointed garden lounge, or experience a rejuvenating treatment in our spa. On site, there are 2 swimming pools, perimeter electric fence, private conference facilities, internet access, spa facilities with 2 treatment/therapy rooms, steam bath, outdoor Jacuzzi, and a curio shop.
