The Elegant suites overlook the tranquil pool area, and are conveniently located a few steps from the main homestead. These spacious 51m² guest suites have an individual décor style; one is in a Greek Mediterranean theme, and the other in pink and white Toile. Both have huge bathrooms, sitting areas, fireplaces and private patios. Twin double beds are the standard; however the romantic Toile room has the option to be created with a king-sized bed and has a separate dressing room. The elegant suites are inter-leading, which makes them perfect for groups.

Two of the 6 Luxury Suites are located in Kurland’s ‘age old’ rose gardens. 60m² in size, they offer a classical Kurland experience. The pastel décor, king-sized four-poster beds, huge open plan bathrooms, sitting area next to the fireplace, and well-stocked library, assure every comfort in a spacious and peaceful environment. Private terraces overlook the paddocks. The 2 suites located in the rose garden are interleading, making them perfect for family groups. Both suites have en-suite loft rooms upstairs which can accommodate 2 children each. The other 4 Luxury Suites are located closer to the main homestead. The suites of 57m² are individually decorated, have an entrance terrace which overlooks the pool area, a king sized bed and oversized chairs in a cozy sitting area next to the fireplace. The spacious bathrooms are a sanctuary, with a shower, bath and reclining chaise, which overlooks a private courtyard and flowing water feature. All 4 suites have en-suite loft rooms upstairs which can accommodate 2 children each.

The 4 Superior Suites are opulently furnished and are exquisite in every respect. Two of the 75m² suites are located at a distance from the main homestead and pool, which makes them particularly private and peaceful. Bathrooms open onto private courtyards, which have calming water features, whilst the main suites flow into large pool terraces. An upstairs ‘loft’ room is en suite, boasts satellite TV and telephone and can sleep 2, 3 or 4 persons - ideal for family members or an au pair. Tucked away from the main homestead, the other 2 x 72m² Superior Suites provide a perfect romantic haven. The separate entrance hall leads into main suite which is luxuriously furnished and has a king-size bed, fireplace and comfortable seating area. The terrace and bathroom have stunning panoramic vistas of the estate. Large terraces have a private swimming pool and relaxation area with ‘courtesy blinds’ that afford complete privacy. This is also the ideal venue for an alfresco brunch or romantic dinner.

This luxurious homestead comprises a few stylish Dutch Gabled buildings, set around a central pool area, with manicured rose gardens, private terraces and courtyards complete with fountains and ornate candelabras. The main guest areas comprise three different sitting rooms and an intimate library, all styled with authentic pieces from Paris and Milan, creating a rich and classic ambiance. Original art adorns the walls as you meet for canapés before dinner in front of the log fire, or enjoy an apéritif on the wide verandahs at sunset. Dining at Kurland is a silver service experience, indoors or al fresco with a Mediterranean touch.
