Situated on the banks of the Sabi River in Hazyview, Hippo Hollow Country Estate is located 10 minutes from Kruger National Park. This property features 2 pools which overlook the Sabi River and an á la carte restaurant. There are 37 free standing, thatched River and Garden Chalets, as well as 54 Twin and Deluxe rooms. This country estate features lush indigenous gardens throughout the property.
Situated on the Sabi River within Kruger National Park the estate is ideal for watching beautiful water birds and hippos at play as guests enjoy cocktails on the patio.
The rooms are decorated in a natural country style with warm textures of wood, reed, stone and thatch and feature air-conditioning and satellite tv as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Some of the chalets have kitchenettes and loft rooms. The en-suite bathrooms vary in size and style, most have double showers, some have baths. All the rooms, except for the twin rooms have balconies, verandahs or viewing decks with views of the gardens or the river.

The รก la carte restaurant looks out over a favoured grazing spot of the local hippo families who spend their time wading through the Sabi river. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu that is constantly changing to continue providing new and innovative ways to serve local food at it's best.
Take in an evening of dance and culture at Shangaan, an unforgettable African Banquet in the bush or spend an afternoon exploring the scenic valleys and woodland forests on horseback. The estate features 2 swimming pools, lounge with internet facility, laundry facility, 24 hour security as well as a babysitting service.
