Historically themed along the lines of a big game hunter’s camp encompassing the bygone era of the early 1900’s, Hamilton's Tented Camp allows indulgence in pure luxury, combined with the sounds and smells of the African bush. Named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world famous Kruger National Park, Hamilton's Tented Camp reflects a safari adventure of the early twentieth century, where grace and style were the epitome luxurious living.
The six tented suites are raised on wooden platforms and linked to the main lodge by raised timber walkways. The tents are elegant and romantic with teak floorboards, four poster beds draped with mosquito nets and crisp white linen. All suites have en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers and a separate bath with bush view; air-conditioning and a private deck with seating and views over to Ngwenyeni Dam. Style and grace flow through the camps main areas, also set under canvas and open sided.
Hamiltons Tented Camp offers the highest standard of International cuisine with an African Flair. With a renowned wine list to match and impeccable service, even the most discerning traveller can be accommodated.
A wide range of activities are available: from bird watching to a relaxing Nomadic Spa experience or venturing on a 4x4 Game Drive.
