Tinga Private Game Lodge - Legends

Tinga Private Game Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sabie River, in the prime game-viewing area of the Kruger National Park. Tinga has an exclusive 5000-hectare concession within this area, where guests can view the wildlife on safaris or bush walks.   Legends is named in honour of those whose vision and foresight ensured that one of the world’s greatest natural treasures exists today. Legends exudes the atmosphere of a classic safari lodge. The thatched cathedral-like entrance leads through to the colonial comfort of the lounge, which opens onto the massive wooden deck overlooking the Sabie River.

A visit to Tinga is designed to stimulate all the senses. Tinga cuisine can be described as a combination of global fusion trends and the aromatic offerings of Africa. Breakfast and lunch are enjoyed on the decks of the lodges, under the shade of the 200-year-old jackalberry tree. Evening meals are often serenaded by some of the local wildlife - one can almost detect a wistful tone in the call of the hyena and jackal as the tantalising aroma of a bush barbeque drifts through the bush. Romantic dinners enjoyed in your suite can also be arranged.
