Laird's Lodge Country Inn was built within 24 acres of beautiful property, occuping only 4 acres of marvelously groomed landscape. This location has a beautiful swimming pool, perfect for cooling off during the hot hours of the days. The lodge also has a 22 seat restaurant, and a dining room which is used for additional seating. Surrounding the restaurant is a fully covered terrace, ideal for patio snacks and drinks. On cooler nights, guest can relax in one of the 2 lounges, which are equipped with warming fireplaces.
The 15 high ceilinged elegantly decorated rooms convey a feeling of tranquil elegance and include cushioned comfort, airconditioning, percale linen and quality toiletries. In the main house are the standard rooms which feature an en-suite bathroom (shower only), a queen sized bed, and a private terrace patio. Also located in the main house are the deluxe rooms, which are similar to the standard room but feature a bath-tub as well as a shower. Seperate from the main house are the suites, which contain an en-suite bath with a seperate shower, a private terrace, beautiful furnishings, and a mini-bar.

The lodge boasts one of the finest menus on the Garden Route specialising in seafood and venison, flavoured with fresh herbs from the garden. Sumptuous breakfasts and convivial 4 course gourmet dinners are served in one of the traditional reed ceilinged dining rooms or the rustically charming leaf strewn wine cellar.
Daily excursions are planned by one of the knowledgeable staff and include close encounters with whales and dolphins or walking with and feeding the Knysna Elephants. Other options include hiking the Robberg Marine & Nature Reserve, golfing at one of the superb courses. Monkyland, Birds of Eden, Teniqwa cheetah's or sunbathing and swimming on one of the pristine beaches. Guests can also enjoy the use of the crystal clear swimming pool, or simply exploring the gardens around the 24 acre property.
