With only four suites carefully distanced from each other, Leadwood is ideal for families or parties of friends who want to share their safari experiences without intruding on each other’s privacy. Floor to ceiling glass windows in the front of your suite afford wide views of the animals coming down to drink at the rocky watering hole. Relax on your private deck absorbing the spectacular scenery around you or take part in an adventurous trek or 4x4 drive through the bush.

Enjoy meals in the open-air dining room and be embraced by wholesome aromas and friendly faces. Linger over a leisurely meal under the roughly hewn bush chandelier or join in the hearty fare around a blazing fire in the boma. The menu includes both simple fair, such as fruit and cheese platters for breakfast, to sumptuous dinners.

Daily game drives provide an opportunity to track the Big Five in the company of an armed ranger and tracker. Bush walks provide you with the opportunity to take a leisurely walk within easy reach of your lodge to experience the sights, smells and sounds of the African bush. An armed ranger will accompany you and will share his vast knowledge of the local fauna and flora. The game viewing continues all day, whether on a game drive or from the comfort of the Lodge’s shady viewing deck.
