Lion Sands River Lodge

Located in the Southern Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Lion Sands is the only Reserve in South Africa to offer a safari in both the Sabie and Sand River ecosystems. The Reserve is family owned and managed by the 4th generation More Family. Their grandfather was one of the founding members of the Sabi Sand Wildtuin in 1948 instilling a long history of community and conservation. Due to the ideal dynamic location, the River Lodge boasts a view of the Sabie River, which cannot be wasted, and is evident through the luxuriously thatched bedrooms featuring private wooden viewing deck. With the quietly rambling river outside your room, you won't have to go far to see wildlife or to drink in the surrounding Sabi Sand Reserve whilst overlooking the world- famous Kruger National Park, all in one glance.
