At Londolozi, superb cuisine is considered an essential part of the experience and a vital component of the holistic philosophy. Every ingredient is chosen with care, favoring organic produce, free-range game, and herbs from the kitchen garden to create dishes that are irresistibly delicious and promote health. As Londolozi’s intention is always to honor the earth, when cooking they ensure that seafood dishes are guided by the Southern African Sustainable Seafood Initiative and that the number of imported ingredients are kept to a minimum. Recipes are a source of great pride, as many have been handed down through generations or were created in the Londolozi kitchens, which are the domain of world-class chefs. Londolozi meals are a feast for the senses, whether in the camp dining room, around the boma campfire or in the bushveld under a starlit sky.

Activities at Londolozi Tree Camp

There are a variety of activities available to guests of Londolozi Tree Camp. Suitable for the beautiful balmy bushveld days in May, June and July, there is nothing like walking in a winter wilderness during a bush walk. The ancient art of tracking has been uniquely preserved at Londolozi, where the combined wisdom of the tracking team spans over 200 years of tracking experience. This is the perfect place to pursue Africa’s most alluring wildlife, whilst in the presence of a master tracker applying an ancient art, miles from any Land Rover. The massage room was designed by a holistic therapist to create a space in harmony with the elements, ensuring a meditative experience that quietens the mind, rejuvenates energy and creates inner balance. Therapies include Swedish and Thai massage, Aromatherapy and Reiki healing. All therapies are available in either our massage room, in the privacy of your suite or out in the wilderness. Other activities include bush breakfasts and adventure picnics, sleep outs, astronomy lectures, birding, yoga, and campfires accompanied by storytelling and red wine.
