Grand Dédale is nestled at the foot of Bainskloof Pass in a beautiful long valley. The historic Manor House on Doolhof Wine Estate, dating back to the early 1700s, has recently been restored to its former Cape Dutch elegance and now houses 6 individually designed and appointed en-suite bedrooms, offering 5 star luxuries and service. The six beautiful appointed en-suite rooms are each individually designed in the historic Manor House and one free standing thatched cottage, all reflecting the Cape Dutch elegance of the buildings with 21st century comfort and 5 star luxury. The Cape Winelands are popular for "good food & wine", and at Grand Dédale we strive to live up to this promise and exceed every expectation. Our specialties include wholesome Cape-style dishes with the emphasis on game and seafood, prepared by our local resident chef. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced ensuring a true African feast with every meal. The vast Estate offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and mountain biking.
