The Lukuba Island Lodge welcomes guests to this superb unexplored island region. This dynamic site boasts five exclusive, stone built bungalows and three tented cabins, all offering stunning lake views. Located within Lake Victoria, just off the eastern shore of this great African Lake, the Lukuba Islands are rich in wildlife and provide visitors with a composition of natural beauty and unexplored wilderness.
The Lodge is situated on Lukuba Island, some 13 kilometers off the shore of Lake Victoria in the Musoma District. The lodge encompasses a beautiful view of the rock islands scattered across the channel. Set under masses of large fig trees and flanked by granite monoliths on one of the picturesque Lukuba bays. Guests are met in the town of Musoma by the lodge management and then escorted to the staging point for departure on board one of the boats. The journey to the island takes approximately 45 minutes.
The Lukuba Island Lodge consists of five intricately built stone bungalows and three tented cabins, all boasting spectacular lake views, and just steps away from the beach. Set under massive fig trees and flanked by massive granite monoliths, the cabins provide a beautiful view of the rock islands scattered across the channel and yet are private enough to enjoy the quiet songs of visiting shore birds. Lukuba provides everything guests need to unwind after long afternoons surveying the local wildlife during the days touring.

The highly trained culinary staff uses fresh product from locals vendor to sustain the economy and to create authentic meals for travellers of all walks of life to enjoy.
