Built on top of a hill, the Bashay Rift Lodge offers breathtaking views (360°) over the Ngorongoro walls on one end and the Rift Valley on the other. This is a small exclusive property boasting 20 rooms (including 2 honeymoon suites). A swimming pool on site and charming accommodation providing our guests with a lovely & relaxing stop on safari.
Ideally located only 8 km from the Ngorongoro gate and far enough away from the busy paths leading to the crater, The Bashay Rift Lodge boasts individually decorated rooms scattered across a vast 30 hectare property (including 5 hectare of coffee plants). Each of the 20 rooms has its own architecture & identity, and is equipped with modern amenities.
The large public areas contain stylish lounge and dining areas, with a fair sized pool area. The culinary staff use, where possible, locally grown produce and product to ensure economic sustainability as well as to create authentic dishes for guests to enjoy.
