Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Neatly perched above the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, the Sopa Lodge enjoys a stunning view of the crater floor, which has been preserved so as not to interfere with the natural habitat of locals, wildlife, and flora that still exist within. The Sopa Lodge is the only tourist spot on this side of the crater, so there is more privacy and less chance of eroding the area. The lodge is built of 91 spacious rooms, each decorated in an agreeable manner and huge bay windows to accommodate an unparalleled view. Dining consists of reliable cuisine and something to meet every visitor’s tastes, including African food. Sundowners have an added allure when paired with the evening’s horizon over the crater. Activities include drives around the crater area and entertainment from Maasai dancers.
