Rufiji River Camp

Rufiji River Camp is located on the banks of the Rufiji River, in a point where the ample and tranquil river is animated by many different species of animals. The tented camp is situated in the heart of the Selous Reserve. It is environmentally friendly and each tent is equipped with a private bathroom and a veranda facing the river. There is a constant flow of animals coming down to drink at the river offering a permanent show to visitors of the camp. The central part of the camp hosts the restaurant, bar, and library; all with a view of the river and sunset. All of the camp structures, kitchen included, are constantly renovated, attaining the highest level of comfort without sacrificing the emotion of a completely natural environment. Electricity and hot water are powered by solar panels, while UHV-filtered drinking water is available throughout camp (including tents). A covered swimming pool is situated in the camp, between the reception and tent area.
