Hotel Dar Said

The former residence of the Tunisian bourgeoisie of the 19th century, the Dar Saïd is sited in the heart of the white and blue mythic village of Sidi-Bou-Saïd. The hotel, which dominates the Mediterranean and offers its visitors a magnificent panoramic view over Carthage and the Gulf of Tunis, is distinguished by its charming white facade, its centenary bougainvilleas and its refined simplicity.  The Hotel Dar Said is located downtown with views of the mountains and countryside.

The hotel features 18 charming rooms which all have pale elegant textiles, fine furniture and cool marble floors, but are different in shape and character. Most have kingsize beds; extra beds and cots are possible in the larger rooms. Bathrooms are small and ornately tiled; lovely jasmine-scented soaps are provided. All rooms open to the courtyard.
