Ilala Lodge

The Ilala Lodge is ideally situated on the Zimbabwean side of the mighty Zambezi River; it is the closest hotel to the magnificent Victoria Falls. A secluded setting overlooking green lawns with periodic grazing wildlife and the bordering lush National Park vegetation, Ilala Lodge has views of the “smoke” of Victoria Falls. All the standard rooms are furnished with railway sleeper teak. With plenty of light from the patio doors, rooms lead onto either a communal garden or a balcony. All standard rooms feature two ¾ beds, en-suite bathrooms with a shower, bath and bathroom amenities, air-conditioning, fan and tea and coffee facilities.

Deluxe Suite

The deluxe suites are elegantly furnished with railway sleeper teak. The suites are located on the upper level and afford a spectacular view of the spray of the Victoria Falls. Guests are treated to nightly repose in an ultra-comfortable, king-size bed. An additional 3/4 twin bed is offered for either an extra adult of child, neatly tucked around the corner in its own private section of the room.

Ilala Lodge offers guests the locally famous Palm Restaurant, where breakfast lunch and dinner is served daily. The menus are a la Carte and guests can eat indoors in the restaurant or on the palm terrace, weather permitting.
