This Polar Adventure Ship was built in 1975. Clipper underwent a $13 million conversion in 1998. Her proud reputation is complimented by her well-appointed, elegance. Clipper Adventurer is the perfect expedition ship for people who enjoy soft adventures and creature comforts.
If you prefer an adventure with creature comforts – en suite facilities, outside cabins and fine dining – then Expedition Ships are for you. They offer the service and many of the amenities of a classic passenger vessel, as well as unrivaled value. In addition to an elegant dining room with exterior views, Clipper Adventurer has a wood-paneled snug for night caps. Internet access is available, an amenity unavailable on many vessels in Antarctica, just one of the small things that sets Clipper Adventurer apart. Ship-to-shore communications via satellite, with email, and wireless, Internet access. Clinic with licensed doctor. Lyubov Orlova is Clipper Adventurer’s sister ship. Just like sisters, the ships are similar, but distinct. Orlova has a somewhat less formal style, yet she is well appointed with spacious public spaces.

Window-lined dining room on Deck 4 with unreserved seating: buffet-style breakfast or table service; table-service or buffet lunch, and table-service dinner. Main course choices from changing daily menu; cakes served in mid-afternoon. Lounge/Presentation Room that accommodates all guests. Two bars. 24 hour beverage station, serving coffee, tea, chilled water and fruit juices. Decks 4 and 5 provide exterior access, with outside seating.
