Day 1: Bali - Ubud
Airport transfer with private vehicle and English-speaking driver.
Accommodation: Komaneka Monkey Forest (4.5*) Located in the center of Ubud, the Komaneka at Monkey Forest is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and an abundance of exotic plants, a veritable oasis in the midst of Ubud's bustling activities and picturesque Monkey Forest Road, with its many wonderful shops, excellent restaurants and easy access to temples, cultural performances, museums and galleries. Jatiluwih Rice Field
Day 2: Bali - Ubud
Depart in the morning from your hotel and transfer to the Munduk village. Upon arrival, enjoy a beautiful trekking experience through coffee plants, cloves, cacao and other exotic tropical plantations around the village. Your guide will give you the insight to the mountain farming life and the importance of the plantations that once attracted the arrival of Europeans to the archipelago. Visit the lovely waterfall with its refreshing breezes, a sure photo-opportunity. After enjoy a short refreshment then carry on to Jatiluwih, here you will enjoy a pleasant walk to discover the beautiful terrace rice fields of Jatiluwih, a UNESCO world heritage. After visiting Jatiluwih stop for lunch at a Bali organic farm. Afterwards continue your visit to the holiest temple of Batukaru temple, located on the southern slope of Batukaru Mountain.

Elephant Safari Park
Day 3: Bali - Ubud
You will be picked up from your hotel by your English speaking guide with a private vehicle and taken on an Elephant Safari Ride. The Elephant Safari Park in Taro is set in the middle of the island on more than 2 hectares of exotic landscaped botanical gardens, surrounded by national forest. The visit of the park includes a 35 minutes journey on the back of an elephant, a buffet lunch and a live shows performed by the elephants. All elephants are originally from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. The park also offers Night Safari’s with show, elephant ride and dinner included.

Cycling
Day 4: Bali - Ubud
You will be picked up from the hotel to experience cycling the stunning downhill trails from Mount Batur to Ubud. The start point is nestled high on the side of a volcano where you can witness spectacular views overlooking Lake Batur and Bali’s highest volcanic craters. Frequent stops throughout the trails will provide you with a day of education and fun. Concluding your day trip, lunch will be served in Ubud before returning to your hotel. Please wear comfortable clothing, sport shoes, hat/cap and sunscreen

You will be picked up by private vehicle with an English speaking guide from Ubud and transferred to your South Bali hotel.

Day 6: Bali - South Bali
Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel.
A sunset outing to the southwestern tip of Bali for a visit of the Uluwatu Temple, which is perched precipitously atop sheer cliffs that drop straight into the pounding surf 250 feet above the sea. This is one of the grandest and oldest temples in Bali, built in 11th century. Watch the spectacular sunset overlooking the Indian Ocean and enjoy the mystic atmosphere before you are driven to Jimbaran Beach for an extensive BBQ Seafood Dinner on the beach.

Tanah Lot at Sunset
Day 7: Bali - South Bali
Take an excursion which shows you the must sees of West Bali starting at Pura Taman Ayun, founded by the King of Mengwi in the 17th century. It has three ascending levels of spacious courtyards containing rows of shrines and pavilions and is surrounded by a wide moat. Continue to Alas Kedaton, the holy monkey forest with its tall nutmeg trees. Your last stop will be Tanah Lot temple, one of the holiest temples in Bali which is built atop a huge rock and surrounded by the sea. Enjoy the wonderful sunset where the golden red sky frames the temple roof and the waves crash into the rocks below.

Travel tips of Indonesia
VISA/PASSPORT
The Indonesian government requires visitors to have a passport valid for at least six months following the date of arrival. Indonesian authorities regularly deny entry to all foreign nationals who arrive with less than six months’ validity on their passports. American and Canadian citizens are required to have a visa to enter Indonesia. Visa processing generally takes 7 working days for a Tourist Visa along with a visa processing fee of approximately $55. A 30 days visa can also be applied upon arrival at Jakarta International Airport. This visa costs approximately $25. Tourist passport holders may apply for a non-extendable visitor Visa-on-Arrival at airports.
Please note obtaining a visa is your responsibility. These requirements change often and therefore it is best that you check with the Embassy of Indonesia for the most up to date visa information.
HEALTH
Health insurance is required. Medical facilities are not widespread and poor quality. We recommend that you see a health-care provider who specializes in Travel Medicine. The doctor or health-care provider will determine what vaccinations and medication you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting, and planned activities. Government: Republic. Declared independence from The Netherlands in 1945.
Language: Bahasa Indonesia is the official national language. Altogether, there are an estimated 583 languages and dialects spoken in the archipelago. The older generation still speaks Dutch as a second language and English is widely spoken in tourist areas.
Religion: There is a Muslim majority of approximately 90%, with Christian, Hindu (mainly in Bali) and Buddhist minorities.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
