The New Miyako hotel feature guest rooms and lobbies that have been signed by Mark Ito, a designer residing in the US who is experienced in many well-known hotel projects. The guestrooms give a spacious impression with a ceiling height of 2.8 meters (top-class in Kyoto), and are characterized by an interior decor combining Kyoto's typical "Japanese" essence with contemporary elements. The large windows present bright, open views. Considering the adverse effects on health and environment, the South Wing offers 228 non-smoking rooms, which comprise about 84% of its total guest rooms.
With an eat-all-you-like restaurant offering over a hundred dishes, and a café-style restaurant with a casual atmosphere, we invite you to try the New Miyako Hotel's seasonal cuisine.
