The Pakbeng Lodge sits by the bank of the Mekong. Pak Beng Lodge is halfway between the world heritage town of Luang Prabang and Huay Xai, between northern Thailand and northern Laos. The hotel is reachable by boat as it sits on an island. Attached to each of the lodge's 20 Superior Rooms, 8 Deluxe Rooms, Suites and 2, is a wide terrace overlooking the river.
The Lodge is built in traditional Lao style: One level has wide corridors and clay-tiled floors, rosewood floors, topped with A two-tiered sloping roof. All of the rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower, terrace and a panoramic view of the Mekong. Room types include: Superior rooms, Deluxe & Suites. Amenities include: ceiling fan, wooden panels walls, French windows that open wide, large private balcony with deckchairs and great views.

The Sala restaurant overlooks the Mekong and houses the bar and also the lounge area. The restaurant serves traditional Lao specialties accompanied by a a selection of French wines to accompany your meal and also a variety of local Lao whiskey. An American breakfast is served each morning from 6:30 am.
You have a choice of 4 massage types at the hotel spa. Massage types include: Thai, Lao, Foot and Oil Massage. The Spa team of masseurs and masseuses are at your disposal "from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. You have the choice to receive your massage in your room, or in the special massage spaces, a series of salas that open to view the Mekong. Your treatment would be a wonderful moment of relaxation after a walk through the mountain gold stroll on elephant back.
