Day 1: Singapore
A private vehicle with driver will pick you up and provide a transfer between the pier and the Airport, for 6 people with 2 pieces of luggage each.

Merlion Park
Day 2: Singapore
Your tour will begin with a leisurely bumboat ride along the Singapore River. The Singapore River is a small river with great historical importance. It is the place where Raffles was made as the 1st trading port in Singapore. The ride will end at Merlion Park at Esplanade Bridge. At the Merlion Park, come face to face with Singapore’s very own tourism mascot, the Merlion, standing in the foreground, whilst the the structural masterpiece of visionary architect Moshe Safdie, the Marina Bay Sands. The tour continues with a drive around the Civic District past the Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Next stop will be one of the oldest and most important Hokkien temple in Singapore, Thian Hock Keng Temple. The temple was built in traditional southern Chinese architectural masterpiece of stone, tiles and dragons and phoenixes, amazing cravings, intricate sculptures and imposing columns. Next and final stop is the National Orchid Garden, within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which boasts a colorful display of 60,000 orchid plants, with 400 species and more than 2,000 hybrids represented.

You will be picked up from your Singapore hotel by private car and english speaking driver for a visit to a Malay Ethnic Area that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Malays. Let your guide recount stories of collective spirit that rose through the darkest times of World War II as you continue your journey to visit the Changi Chapel & Museum. Drive through the rustic and laid-back Changi Village giving you a chance to see the relaxing side of Singapore and provides a contrast to your final stop at Tampines New Town, a typical heartland township of present day Singapore. Rates include admissions as per itinerary.

Witness this theatrical experience. The "Cak" or "Kecak" dance is the well-known “monkey dance” which is originally derived from a sacred sanghyang dance, it has subsequently been added to and adapted, incorporating scenes from the story of Ramayana. The Kecak dance is an amazing cacophony of interlocking sounds – 100 men, representing the Ramayana’s monkey army sit in concentric circles and chant. Their arms are thrown up to the skies, fingers outstretched, but the sounds and gestures have no meaning other than to drive out evil.

Day 5: Bali - Ubud
Start the day with a visit to Kerta Gosa, or Hall of Justice, built in 18th century in Klungkung. It is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture which can be seen in their ceiling murals. Continue through spectacular views of terraced rice fields to Besakih temple, located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali highest volcano. It is called Mother Temple of Bali as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese and a complex of nearly 24 temples. Our next stop is Kintamani where you can enjoy your lunch with a breathtaking view over the caldera lake, Danau Batur. Driving down, we arrive in the bottom of a lush green valley, where the Gunung Kawi temple, Bali largest ancient monument is located. It consists of 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) – memorials cut out of the rock face in imitation of actual statues and stand in 7m-high sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face. Our last stop will be Goa Gajah.

Day 8: Bali - South Bali
Bali’s vibrant culture attracts thousands of visitors each year yet few people have tasted authentic Balinese cuisine. Join a shared Balinese cooking school class and discover the secrets of the Balinese kitchen. You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and taken to the cooking school, where you will then go to the local fish and vegetables market to acquire ingredients for today's dish. Breakfast will be served at the school prior to the cooking class, and lunch will be enjoyed once prepared!
In the afternoon, enjoy some time on your own to relax.

VISA/PASSPORT
The Indonesian government requires visitors to have a passport valid for at least six months following the date of arrival. Indonesian authorities regularly deny entry to all foreign nationals who arrive with less than six months’ validity on their passports. American and Canadian citizens are required to have a visa to enter Indonesia. Visa processing generally takes 7 working days for a Tourist Visa along with a visa processing fee of approximately $55. A 30 days visa can also be applied upon arrival at Jakarta International Airport. This visa costs approximately $25. Tourist passport holders may apply for a non-extendable visitor Visa-on-Arrival at airports.

HEALTH
Health insurance is required. Medical facilities are not widespread and poor quality. We recommend that you see a health-care provider who specializes in Travel Medicine. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
