Upon your arrival at Fern Resort you walk over a small bridge and enter the lobby, where you are warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Enjoy your cold refreshing welcome drink at the open-air reception while relaxing in local-style teak furniture. 30 wooden bungalows are built in the local Shan Style and are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Fern Resort is home to 30 wooden bungalows built in the local Shan style scattered on former rice paddies. To let you be as close to nature as possible there is no TV and telephone in the rooms. Here you can enjoy the sounds of the surrounding jungle, the floating waters and the relaxing atmosphere. Spacious and tastefully furnished, the Deluxe bungalows provide a very comfortable accommodation. The interior design is a perfect combination of bamboo and teak, offering you a dressing table, chairs and a small table in the bedroom. For everybody who is seeking the perfect hide-away in the middle of nature and still does not want to miss a luxurious accommodation, the Suite Bungalows are the perfect choice. Built along the rice field, the private balcony facing the small creek behind, you are offered a very spacious bungalow with both fan and air-conditioning.

After an exciting trek take a refreshing swim in the pool. For all you bird watchers out there, The Green Leafbird, Hoopoes, the Slaty-backed Forktail, Bulbulbs and the White-rumped Shama are commonly seen, as well as the black-hooded Oriole. Enjoy the beautiful nature of Mae Surin National Park and hike on the nature trails behind Fern Resort. Take a mountain-bike and explore the area around the Fern Resort cycling. From here you reach the boat station at Ban Huai Dua at the Pai River within half an hour, from where you can go on your own on a long tail boat to visit a village of the Padong and ride through the jungle on the back of an elephant.
