Amanpuri Resort

The Amanpuri Resort was built in 1987 and became Amanresorts’ flagship property. Reflecting the style and elegance of Thai culture, the resort’s graceful pavilions and villa homes are situated in a coconut plantation on a headland overlooking the Andaman Sea. The Terrace offers casual, all-day dining in an al fresco setting and features Thai and European specialties. The Restaurant serves Italian cuisine and is open for dinner year round, and lunch between November and April. Also open during this period is Naoki, serving original French Kaiseki fare which combines the best of French technique with Japanese artistry. The Terrace and the Restaurant are located beside the swimming pool, while Naoki is situated just steps from the beach. Weather permitting, lunches are held at the beach terrace. The Bar offers poolside drinks and snacks. At last light, half a dozen molded-brass tables and teak, rattan-backed chairs are set out along the terrace between the pool and the steps leading to the beach where a view of the sun setting on the Andaman Sea is visible.

Aman Spa

The spa features six spacious Thai-style pavilions, each offering an open, light-filled space of wood and glass with private steam room, shower, bath, dressing area, and an outdoor meditation sala. Treatments can be enjoyed individually or as a couple. There is also a sauna, granite steam room, and fountain terrace where health drinks are served. Complimentary guided yoga and meditation sessions are offered at daybreak in the open-sided teak wood salasset high on the hillside. The extensive Aman Spa menu includes a range of healing therapies as well as traditional treatments such as facials, body wraps, scrubs, and baths.
