The Amanpuri Resort is nestled in a coconut palm grove above a private beach bordering a sparkling turquoise sea sits Amanpuri. The hotel, on the island of Phuket, blends traditional Thai architecture, culture and service with the beauty of absolute stillness. Amanpuri’s peacefulness is reflected in its gracious service, and the design of its pavilions, villas, and stylish midnight blue pools.
Forty pavilions and 30 Thai villa homes are interspersed throughout the coconut grove. Pavilion 105 and 103 enjoy premium views of the Andaman Sea. Three ocean pavilions also have sea views, while six partial ocean pavilions are set further back from the shore with partial ocean views. 23 garden pavilions are interspersed throughout the resort’s mature coconut palms while the remaining six pavilions are set along the resort’s internal passageway. All pavilions feature an outdoor sala, a king-size bed, separate bath and shower, refrigerator with fully stocked mini bar, electronic safe, stereo CD cassette system, IDD services and wireless broadband connections, also available in public areas of the resort, and air-conditioning.

The Terrace Restaurant offers casual, all-day dining in an al fresco setting and features both Thai and European specialties. The Restaurant serves Italian cuisine and is open for dinner all year round and for lunch during high season. Both restaurants are located beside the swimming pool. Weather-permitting, lunches are held at the Beach Terrace. Set just behind the beach, Naoki is Amanpuri's newest restaurant which serves original French Kaiseki - combining the best of French techniques with a Japanese sense of artistry. The bar offers poolside drinks and snacks. At last light, half a dozen moulded-brass tables and pairings of teak, rattan-backed chairs are set out along the terrace between the pool and the steps leading to the beach where a view of the sun setting on the Andaman Sea is visible.
The awe-inspiring pools that the hotel is renowned for, a glass-walled, fully equipped gym, 6 tennis courts and a library are also available to guests. The Amman Spa with its six spacious Thai-style spa pavilions offering an open, light-filled space of wood and glass with private steam room, shower, bath, dressing area and an outdoor meditation sala is also a great way to spend the day.
