The Paradise Luxury Cruise will come to an end on Tuan Chau Island between 10.30am and 11.00am. From here you will drive back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hoi An
Drive 40 km Southwest of Hoi An in private vehicle with English speaking guide. Visit the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, a designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. In a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Drive back to Hoi An for lunch (included). In the afternoon take a walking tour of Hoi An, discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An's colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukien Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Travellers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry.

Day 6: Hoi An
In the morning, you will be met by your English speaking guide with private car at your hotel and transferred on a half day of cooking class at a school. With a guide from the restaurant, you will take a walking tour through the market, where you will be shown all the fresh ingredients that would be used in typical Vietnamese recipes. After the market tour, a 25 minute boat ride will take you across the Hoi An River. Take sight of the fishermen cast their nets up along the river while on your way to the cooking school. Upon arrival at a small town you will walk towards the cooking school. The lesson will begin in an open-air pavilion next to the river, where Chef Thanh will teach you how to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes. Afterwards, relax and enjoy the lunch that you have prepared.

With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, this citadel is far more elaborate than those constructed by previous empires. After lunch (included), continue your tour with a boat cruise along the Perfume River. Enjoy this romantic cruise and visit the Minh Mang Tomb. Finish up at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue.

You will be met by your English speaking guide at your hotel and transfer by private car to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam's wars with the both the French and Americans. The museum is a call for peace, and the hope that the horrors of war will never be repeated. The exhibit begins with a room listing war facts such as troop numbers, bomb tonnage, and statistics on international involvement in the conflict, including numbers of casualties on both sides. Your visit will also include exhibits dedicated to the journalists who were lost during the war as well as biological warfare, weaponry, and worldwide movements for peace. Continue the tour to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh Market for a shopping experience. Entrance fees and mineral water is included in this tour.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, you will be picked up by private car with an English speaking guide and taken to Tay Ninh. Just, 60 miles northwest of Ho Chi Minh City is the Great Temple or Holy See, the center of the intriguing Cao Dai sect. Cao Dai is a syncretist Vietnamese religious movement that incorporates aspect of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and even Catholicism. The Cao Dai Temple (as it is more commonly known) was begun in 1933 in a unique architectural style that reflects its blended traditions. In the afternoon, you will travel just north of the city to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Vietnamese are proud of their resolve in their prolonged history of struggle against invading armies, and the story of the people of Cu Chi is indicative of that spirit. The residents of Cu Chi then took their war underground, literally, developing a network of tunnels that, at its height, stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens, and triage areas. Enjoy a nice lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 12: Siem Reap
Meet at the hotel or airport and transfer for Roulous Group sightseeing. Visit the Lolei, Bakong and Preah Ko Temples. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue with a visit to the Angkor Wat temple complex and enjoy watching the sunset on Phnom Bakheng before returning to your hotel.

Landmine Museum
Day 13: Siem Reap
Today, you will get up at 4 AM to head to the temples and enjoy Sunrise at Angkor Wat, then return back to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will transfer about half an hour outside the city to visit one of the more remote temples, Banteay Srei. After touring around this temple with your guide, you will head back towards Siem Reap, and en route you will stop for a quick visit to the Landmine Museum. This museum was opened in 1997 by Aki Ra, a former child soldier, and proceeds go toward clearing landmines across Cambodia. It is a safe and educational place to learn about the impact that these devices have had on Cambodia, and what is being done to rid the country of their threat. Transfer back to the city for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, head to one of Siem Reap's lively local markets where you can buy small gifts to bring along on your next visit, to one of the schools for local orphaned children near Wat Bo. Play with the children, tour the facilities, sit in on a lesson, and interact with the local community here along with your guide, in an experience that is sure to offer some inspiring insight into the Khmer people. In the later afternoon transfer back to your hotel in Siem Reap. ***A portion of the tour cost will be donated to both the Landmine Museum and Orphanage, of course, further donations are welcome!

VISA/PASSPORT
A valid passport and a Cambodian visa are required for both US and Canadian citizens. Tourist and business visas are valid for one month beginning with the date of entry into Cambodia. Processing generally takes 7 working days along with a visa processing fee of approximately US$20. Any method of obtaining a Cambodian visa requires a passport-sized photograph and a passport that is valid for a minimum of six months beyond the date of entry into Cambodia. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
