Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest Island located 16 kilometers off the coast of South Australia. Brimming with wildlife, Kangaroo Island offers an intimate experience with the Australian wilderness; hand feed a Tammar Wallaby, paddle with Sea-lions or stroke a Koala amid the idyllic backdrop of beaches and bushland. Nature lovers and walkers alike will regale in this ‘zoo without walls’ that has been likened to the Galapagos Islands with its natural charm.
Lodge Apartments are self-contained units ideal for a family. The apartment features a king bed and a set of bunk (in one room) a small lounge room and basic kitchen facilities. A sofa bed can be made up in the lounge room.
Overlooking the courtyard with its native bushland garden, rooms are elegantly appointed and comfortably furnished with discerning travellers in mind. Note: Some pairs of Courtyard Suites can be requested as family interconnecting, offering sufficient bedding to accommodate a family of six in comfort.
The Lodge Rooms are comfortable units with no outdoor space. The rooms are part of the lodge which has a large communal lounge area and Flinders Walk art gallery. All rooms have ensuites and tea and coffee making facilities.
Nicolas Baudin's is located in the southern wing of the courtyard and offers indoor or alfresco dining overlooking an area where Wallabies frequently graze in the evening. The dinner menu offers a selection of local produce with an international influence. All meals can be perfectly matched by our comprehensive wine list, encompassing all of the premium wine regions of Australia. Come relax by the fireplace and enjoy all the culinary delight's Kangaroo Island has offer such as marron, fresh fish and specialty desserts.
