Situated in a loop off the main highway running between Ayers Rock and Alice Springs, Kings Canyon Resort is 7 kilometres from Watarrka National Park, the home of the magical sandstone formation of Kings Canyon.
All of the comfortable standard rooms are spacious and contain a separate ensuite bathroom with shower/bath. Rooms feature either two double beds or one queen bed. Interconnecting rooms are also available.
Set in a prime location at the resort and nestled in amongst a rugged bush setting, the spa rooms offer guests deluxe accommodation at Kings Canyon with a spacious spa bath and feature a window providing scenic views and a relaxing atmosphere. Each room also features a private balcony offering a magnificent outlook onto a rocky escarpment that is tastefully lit at night.

The renowned sounds of firelight dinner lures you back out. A crackling fire, six delicious courses and flawless service, all set against a backdrop of a star-speckled night.
The Desert Oaks Bistro offers a selection of light meals, beverages and snacks in a relaxed outback setting. Breakfasts and lunches are perfect for holiday-makers on the go, where you can grab a quick meal between sightseeing activities. Evenings are more laidback, with a delicious a la carte menu available featuring steak, chicken and seafood.
The Outback BBQ & Grill is a true Australian Outback experience offering a selection of contemporary Australian BBQ cuisine. Enjoy a-la-carte BBQ-style fare, fresh vegetables, salads and a wide selection of wines, spirits, ales and soft drinks. Open for dinner from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Revel in the friendly atmosphere, mixing with other guests under a solid roof with open sides - a traditional outback veranda. This casual bar and grill also provides live entertainment during peak season, which is generally April to October.
This lively bar is open from 2.00pm daily until late. Pizzas are served from 6.00pm - 8.00pm. This is the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the wonders of Watarrka National Park.
