Imagine yourself wandering through one of the world's oldest rainforest, the Daintree Rainforest, a whopping 65 million years older than the South American Amazon. Feel the sultry sun of the tropics touch your skin, listen to the deep echo of the birdlife in the canopy above, as you observe the insects and wildlife scatter through the flora and fauna. Become immersed in nature to gain a new appreciation for the abundant flora and birdlife around you. Your expert Aboriginal guide will share his knowledge of the local plants and wildlife, passed down from the Kuku Yalanji people, who used the natural wildlife in their everyday lives for 70000 years. You will overnight at the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa, located in-between two World Heritage Areas, the Rainforests of the Daintree and the Great Barrier Reef. One of the most awarded eco destinations in the world; The Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa has received over 40 national and international awards including the Luxury Travel Magazine Best Luxury Eco tourism in the World 2010. As a special addition to this package, guests will receive a 10% off daily discount on all Spa treatments at the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa. This exploration tour visit's the world's largest sand island, Fraser Island. This Kingfisher Bay's adventure package provides you the opportunity to see Fraser's iconic beauty spots including Seventy Five Mile Beach, Lake McKenzie and beautiful Wanggoolba Creek from the comfort of an air-conditioned, custom-designed 4WD coach. During the day you will explore Fraser's famous sand tracks (and we'll manage tides and traffic) and by night you will enjoy the comfort of resort living.

Travel tips of Australia
VISA/PASSPORT
American and Canadian citizens are required to have a valid passport to enter Australia. Americans and Canadians must enter with an Australian visa or, if eligible, through Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). The ETA replaces a visa and allows a stay of up to three months. It may be obtained for a small service fee. Airlines and many travel agents in the United States are also able to apply for ETAs on behalf of travelers. Please note that American citizens who overstay their ETA or visa, even for short periods, may be subject to exclusion, detention, and removal.
Please note obtaining a visa is your responsibility. These requirements change often and therefore it is best that you check information about the ETA, other visas, and entry requirements with the Embassy of Australia
HEALTH
Health insurance is recommended. Medical facilities are good quality. We recommend that you see a health-care provider who specializes in Travel Medicine. The doctor or health-care provider will determine what vaccinations and medication you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting, and planned activities. For more information on travel requirements, visit the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website: http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/australia.aspx
