From the Brisbane Port, board a ferry bound for Fraser Island, a coach will transfer you from here to your Fraser Island Hotel.

On this beautiful day out, you’ll meet like-minded travellers, visit the top natural attractions and cool off in watering holes - and all in the air-conditioned comfort of our custom-designed, four-wheel-drive coaches. This full day of touring visits Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek, Pile Valley’s stunning Satinay and Brush Box forests, Seventy-Five Mile Beach's famous highway, the Maheno shipwreck and the coloured sands of The Pinnacles, the temperate fresh waters of Eli Creek and the mighty Stonetool Sand Blow. A lunch will be brought for you, so just pack your swim wear and your sunscreen for this adventure.

From your hotel, you will picked up and brought to the Fraser Island Port to board a ferry bound for Brisbane.

Today a guide will take you on an exploration tour of the Heron Island Ecotourism and Research Station.  Heron Island is famous around the world for its spectacular coral reef, its extraordinary variety of aquatic life, migrating whales, nesting turtles and as a breeding ground for an abundance of birdlife. The Heron Island Resort is Great Barrier Reef ecotourism at its best, which is no doubt why it has been awarded an Advanced Eco-Certification by Ecotourism Australia.  On Heron Island, as well as running our own power generator, potable water production and wastewater treatment, we also provide these services to the independent Heron Island Research Station and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Ranger Station.

Enjoy the beauty of the reef without getting wet on this semi-submersible coral viewing cruise, with a naturalist guide providing informative commentary. 

Experience a truly humbling activity today, as you join an expert guide for you Turtle Tour to spot the magnificent regional turtles, as they begin  nesting and, or as the newly born hatch-lings make there way to sea.  Your guide will explain the life details, habitat, and much more about these aquatic creatures.  Keep in mind that this is a natural, unscheduled and rare experience, and viewing is not guaranteed.  The ideal periods and peak nesting times are December through to April.  NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IS ALLOWED.

A transfer between Cairns airport and Mossman with private vehicle and driver is provided.

Upon your arrival to the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa you will receive a handcrafted piece of Aboriginal artwork, as keep-sake of your spectacular journey in the Daintree Rainforest.

Accompanied by an expert, Aboriginal guide, head out into the lush Daintree Rainforest for an hour of exploration.  Your guide will inform you of the ancient Aboriginal traditions of Kuku Yalanji people, and how their lives were directly influenced by this diverse environment.  Their knowledge of the flora and fauna, and local wildlife has been a means of their survival, and has not changed for 70000 years.  Your guide will escort you back to your Eco-lodge accommodations upon completion of this tour.

This 30 minute information session will describe and display a variety of Aboriginal weaponry and artefacts.  The most famous Australian Aboriginal artefact/weapon is the boomerang.  This is considered as the ancient version of the multi-purpose "Swiss Army Knife", as it has been used throughout history for hunting, fighting, digging, cutting (for eating), creating fire by use of friction, and as a percussion instrument. Some other artefacts from Australia include spears, pottery, dilly bags (fibrous bag), emu-caller, clap sticks, and the didgeridoos.

Experience the work that goes into each piece of Aboriginal Handi-crafts and Art during this 2 hour cultural workshop. This workshop will give you a deeper insight into the ways in which the Aboriginal`s have thrived in the Daintree Rainforest for centuries.  Your local Aboriginal art expert will give you further information about the methods use to create this unique artwork.  You will then have the opportunity to use the traditional methodologies to create a piece of artwork for yourself.

You will be picked up from your Daintree lodging by private car and driver and taken to Cairns City or Cairns airport.

Lizard Island is truly secluded from the rest of the world. The Great Barrier Reef resort is the northern most resort located directly on the Barrier Reef. The Reef is home to millions of different life forms, ranging from micro-organisms all the way up to some of the largest mammals on earth including the world famous Clownfish. The waters surrounding Lizard Island are a diving and snorkeling wonderland,  featuring an array of outstanding sites such as North Point and Cobia Hole With the island's location less than one hour away from the outer and inner reefs, many more wold class sites are easily accessible including the world famous Cod Hole.

Lizard Island Resort provides guests with a variety of free recreational activities including use of motorized dinghies, tennis, paddle skis, a well-equipped gymnasium and much more to explore the extraordinary nature. For trips to the inner or outer reef and Azure Spa treatments charges may apply.  If you have enough of water you may engage in self-guided walks. There are a variety of trails on which you can learn about Lizard Island's original inhabitants and their bush tucker, follow the footsteps of James Cook on a hike to the summit of Cook's Look or visit Watson's Cottage to learn about Lizard Island's first European inhabitants.

Simple and relaxed, Ospreys Restaurant is the idyllic setting to take full advantage of the views along the seascape for a special dining experience on Lizard Island. With an accent on fresh seafood and superb local produce, the daily changing menus draw on the flavours of modern Australian, Asian and European cuisine.  Gourmet picnic hampers for beachside outings are available on request daily.
