This food & wine-themed cruise adventure, sails between Brisbane and Auckland in the spirit of the explorer Abel Tasman. Visit to Norfolk Island with historic attractions including museums, the penal settlement and the culture arising from the Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian wives, who settled on Norfolk after the mutiny of the HMS Bounty. There will also be the opportunity to visit the historic township of Russell, a peaceful retreat with old world charm in New Zealand's magnificent Bay of Islands. A coastline of bays and white sandy beaches and 150 islands on the edge of the Continental Shelf renowned for diving, yachting and deep sea fishing. This is where the European settlers first arrived and was a base for whalers, sealers and sailors. Without doubt, one of the most beautiful and peaceful seascapes in the world.

Day 6: Norfolk Island - South Pacific Cruise
Norfolk Island is rich in history and culture from Captain Cook's discovery in 1774 to modern times. When the First Fleet arrived at Port Jackson in January 1788, Phillip ordered Lieutenant Philip Gidley King to lead a party of fifteen convicts and seven free men to take control of the island and prepare for its commercial development. They arrived on 6 March 1788.
Although much of the land has been cleared for cropping and pasture, the once-dominant Norfolk Island pines remain a notable feature of the landscape. The island has a wide variety of flora and fauna including geckos, bats, turtles, plentiful fish and many seabird species.
Before European colonization, most of Norfolk Island was covered with subtropical rain forest, the canopy of which was made of Norfolk Island Pine. Historic attractions include museums, the penal settlement and the culture arising from the Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian wives, who settled on Norfolk after the mutiny of the HMS Bounty.

Day 8: Bay of Islands - South Pacific Cruise
On the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand you enjoy your first taste of Aotearoa. Here a coastline of bays and white sandy beaches embraces a sea dotted with 150 islands. The Maoris believe that the Bay of Islands was originally discovered by their legendary navigator Kupe. This is where the Maoris first arrived, and not so long ago was a base for whalers, sealers and sailors, preparing the way for a fusing of Maori and European culture. It is famously known as being the home of the Treaty of Waitangi, the first official agreement between Maori and the British. Today, you will make land in Russell, for a discovery of this charming township.

Day 9: Roberton Island - South Pacific Cruise

Day 10: Auckland
Today you'll arrive at the port of Auckland, where you will disembark from your ship, and say farewell to your fellow cruisemates.
A private vehicle with driver will provide a transfer between the Auckland Airport and Overseas Wharf (Port).
See first hand why Auckland is known as the City of Sails as you enjoy a trip over the Harbour Bridge. Visit the Famous Auckland landmark of Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit offers excellent panoramic views of the city and harbours. From the fantastic vantage point you will see evidence of Auckland's volcanic history, the most significant being the youngest volcano of Rangitoto Island at the entrance to the Waitemata harbour. This tour also takes in the Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park which is situated on a 62,000 year old volcano. In addition to these natural features you will be taken to the trendy shopping are of Parnell Village with its historical buildings that have been transformed into boutiques, antique and craft specialty shops. Your tour will then take you along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Dr. before returning to Downtown.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (35% of program price). The balance is due 130 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 131 days or more after booking will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 92-130 days will be subject to loss of 35% of program price. 91 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
