The Henry Jones Art Hotel is located on Hobart’s waterfront and is Australia’s first dedicated art hotel. The site in which it is located dates back to 1804 and the former jam factory has been transformed into an enthralling first class hotel designed by award-winning architects, Morris-Nunn & Associates. The IXL Long Bar is well regarded as Hobart's "meeting place", the cocktail and music connoisseur's destination. The Bars' interiors, its contrasts and harmonies of color, movement, glass and form center upon fascinating works of art and stunning views of Sullivan’s Cove. Against this extraordinary backdrop indulge in a glass from the extensive collection of wine and beer or one of the signature mixes from the award winning barmen. Along with a selection of mixes the Chefs have put together a small plates menu to compliment the setting and is perfect for those who want to start the evening with an appetizer or are looking for something light.
Jam Packed Cafe is located in the stunning IXL Atrium and overlooks Hobart’s waterfront. Featuring a café style menu packed full of Tasmania’s specialties and highlighting the islands regional produce, it’s the ideal space for a coffee, all day breakfast, light lunch, ice-cream or a glass of wine.
Located on the first floor, the I Excel Gym is fully equipped with the latest cardio equipment, weight machines, fit balls and stretching mats. The gym also features a TV, water fountain and is air-conditioned for the best workout possible. The cardio equipment features interactive displays including built-in iPod integration so you can 'excel' yourself with your own sound.
