Castaway Island Resort Fiji is a 174-acre private island in the heart of the Mamanuca Group with easy access to neighbouring islands for exploring and a truly relaxing holiday atmosphere. Spacious traditional thatch bures ((Fijian wood-and-straw hut/cabins) with hand painted tapa material and high ceilings are spread along the beachfront and in the garden setting. The property features sixty-six bures with spacious interiors, all with modern inclusions. Castaway offers white sandy beaches and a clear lagoon for swimming. Facilities includes resort restaurants where you can dine along the water's edge, 5*PADI Gold Palm diving, and various other resort activities.

The island's 174 acres are covered with lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by white sand beaches and encircled by vibrant coral reefs.Their spacious yet secluded bures and creative island cuisine along with the warmth and genuine hospitality of the Castaway family of staff combine to provide a unique holiday experience. Castaway is the heart and soul of the Fiji Islands. Castaway offers 66 spacious, traditionally thatched Fijian style bures (bungalows) with a choice of beach front, ocean view or island location. All bures feature one king size bed and most include two additional single beds in their configuration, with those bures comfortably sleeping up to four persons, quality island style furnishings, fabrics and linen. Additionally a refrigerator together with tea and coffee making facilities are provided. All bures have a large ensuite bathroom including separate shower, toilet and vanity area complete with hairdryer and toiletries with a Fijian flair.

Waters Edge Restaurant: offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with the option of indoor or outdoor dinning. The a la carte menu features the freshest Fijian seafood and crustaceans, with prime grade beef, poultry and local Fijian specialties together with fresh vegetables, crisp salads and crusty home baked breads complemented by a selected wine list. Sundowner Restaurant: specializes in gourmet wood fired pizzas for lunch and breakfast and also serves a variety of tropical cocktails.
Whether you decide to windsurf, paddleboard, or sail a catamaran around the lagoon, it's all in a day's activity at Castaway. View the living coral reef by snorkeling or through a glass bottomed boat – all with their compliments. Use of watersports equipment is available free of charge. You might want to spend an afternoon around their beautiful swimming pool or play a set of tennis at sunset. Join them on the beach every afternoon for Fiji vs. the world in beach volleyball. Board games are also available for those who prefer something less energetic. Castaway guests have the option to participate in activities such as banana boat rides, SCUBA diving, waterskiing, parasailing, jetskiing and outer reef snorkeling trips.
