Each Bure offers 1,650 square feet of privacy and serenity, and includes many luxurious amenities. All Bures are designed with the guest in mind, the bedroom has ample closet space and a four-poster king bed made in Fili D’Oro 100% cotton sheets from Italy. Each bure is delightfully styled with tibetan rugs, woven bamboo wall coverings and Asian decorative arts. The Garden and Ocean Bure are equipped with luxurious washrooms that feature an oversized soaking tub, two vanities, open-air lava rock shower and a separate washroom. Enjoy the double-hammock strung between two coconut palms, secluded garden and two outdoor covered decks. The rooms are supplied with Hunter fans in addition to air conditioning, a living room with fully equipped wet bar, CD player and iPod connections. The Governor’s Bure offers 2,400 square feet of luxury and privacy for those who want more space. This elegant hideaway, named after Fiji’s first British Governor who lived across the water in the old capitol of Levuka, is a secluded retreat equipped to provide conceivable comfort. Located closest to Homestead Beach, the Governor’s Bure is located very close to the marina, where the scuba diving and fishing expeditions depart. Enjoy the secluded garden with the beautiful waterfall and the front and back covered outdoor decks. The Governors Bure features an oversized bedroom with vast closet space and a four poster king size bed made in the finest Fili D’Oro 100% cotton sheets from Italy. The Governors Bure is styled with cathedral ceilings, woven bamboo wall coverings, and indigenous yaka timber flooring. Ambassador's Bure

The Ambassadors Bure is the largest suite at Wakaya and is the newest addition to the clubs accommodation. This Bure is a glamorous ocean front 4,500 square foot two bedroom retreat which is designed for a maximum of four people. Each one of the two bedrooms feature a four poster king bed, spacious walk-in closet, writing desk and a luxuriously appointed bathrooms including two separate vanities, private outdoor shower and a generous soaking tub-designed for two. This spacious and luxurious air-conditioned bure features a secluded and covered Plunge/Water Shiatsu Pool Lanai, separate living room with a full kitchen and dining area for up to six guest’s, DVD/VCR and stereo system with surround sound, an iPod connection, and wireless Internet. Vale O, or “House in the Clouds,” is the royal suite: a 12,000 square foot villa on a 16-acre hilltop estate with stunning panoramic ocean views. This three-bedroom villa, said to be the finest in the South Pacific, is an air-conditioned retreat that offers complete privacy and attentive personal service for a maximum of three couples or six people. Overlooking the Koro Sea and Homestead Bay the island’s longest white sand beach, Vale O superbly melds western comfort with eastern serenity, showcasing the beauty of the island and the art and culture of the South Pacific. The property features a rock-rimmed pool with a waterfall and Jacuzzi, a night-lit tennis court, and a Boules court. Vale O guests enjoy the services of a dedicated household staff including a personal chef and an on-call driver. A Vale O vacation also includes full use of all Wakaya Club & Spa facilities for the adults. In addition, Vale O has wireless Internet and iPod connections. Seafood drawn from the Koro Sea, venison, pork, lamb, chickens, organic garden products and the chefs are adept to catering to the guest’s dietary requirements, whatever they may be. The Wakaya Club & Spa has an International Guest Chef program that has eventuated in several highly acclaimed chefs spending a sojourn in the Wakaya Club state of the art kitchen.

    The Wakaya Club & Spa has its own 9-hole golf course, a small but challenging course with dazzling views of the Homestead Bay as it meanders through a 19th century copra plantation. The golf course is lighted for evening play. The Wakaya Club & Spa pro will be happy to give lessons or tee off with you. The David Niven Croquet Court is adjacent to the tennis court. The staff at the Wakaya will be happy to teach you the rules and how to play croquet.
