Le Tahaa Island resort was opened in July 2002, this resort is designed to be the most exclusive resort in French Polynesia. Superbly located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, the resort faces the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side and offers an unsurpassed view on Bora Bora island on the ocean side. This traditional Polynesian style hotel is 5 minutes by boat from main island of Taha'a and 35 min by boat from Raiatea Island . The resort offers 48 Over Water Suites & 12 Beach Suites more than a hundred square meters in size. The public areas are built in the trees, providing an exquisite view on the lagoon and Taha'a Island.
The Taha’a Overwater Suite offers the great feeling of being suspended above the crystal-clear lagoon with exquisite views of the lush Vanilla Island. Suite amenities include air conditioning and ceiling fan, 1 King size bed & 1 Sofa bed, in room safe, writing desk, glass table, a private deck with shaded sitting area and direct access to the lagoon (outside shower), full shower and separate bath tub, Le Taha'a amenities and bath products, bathrobes and slippers, satellite TV (French and English channels), tea and coffee making facilities, Wifi internet access (via outside operator – extra cost), and a view of Taha'a.
There are three restaurants and two bars. La Plage is located by the pool and beachside. Vanille and Ohiri are located in the heart of the resort among the trees. Vanille is the main restaurant and Ohiri is for fine dining. Enjoy beach barbecues and Polynesian and seafood buffets accompanied with live entertainment
Le Taha’a features a fresh water swimming pool. The pool is next to the beach and surrounded by decked and tiled areas with lounge chairs. It is serviced throughout the day by a pool bar and restaurant "La Plage". Jet skis, water ski, 1 tennis court night lighted. Petanque (Bacci ball) area, voleyball court, beach jacuzzi available on site. Full range of excursions to discover the wonders of the island of Taha'a by sea or 4x4 including Vanilla plantations, black pearl farms, motu picnic.
