Le Tahaa Island Resort and Spa is designed to be the most exclusive resort in French Polynesia.  Superbly located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, the resort faces the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side and offers an unsurpassed view off Bora Bora island on the ocean side. This traditional Polynesian style hotel is five minutes by boat from main island of Taha'a and 35 min by boat from Raiatea Island . The resort offers 48 Over Water Suites and 12 Beach Suites measuring more than a hundred square meters in size. The public areas are built in the trees, providing an exquisite view on the lagoon and Taha'a Island.

The Taha’a Overwater Suite offers the great feeling of being suspended above the crystal-clear lagoon with exquisite views of the lush Vanilla Island. Suite amenities include air conditioning and ceiling fan, a King size bed and a Sofa bed, an in-room safe, a writing desk, a glass table, an outside shower, a private deck with shaded sitting area and direct access to the lagoon, full shower and separate bath tub, Le Taha'a amenities and bath products, bathrobes and slippers, satellite TV (French and English channels), tea and coffee making facilities, Wifi internet access (via outside operator – extra cost), and a view of Taha'a.

Le Vanille, the resort's main restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner. Set high up among the trees, one shall enjoy restful views of the Taha'a lagoon and the property's lush gardens. Le Vanille is the perfect place for a great start to the day with a selection of fresh squeezed juices, delicious danish, muffins, French "pain perdu", tropical fruits, hot and cold buffet. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00am. La Plage is open for lunch, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Enjoy this 'al fresco' restaurant, right on the beach and feet in the sand. The Chef's specialties include some delicious fresh, colorful salads, tasty grilled fish or meat and sashimis. The Ohiri Restaurant is the resort's gourmet and gourmands dining option. The Chef will delight you with some creative French- Polynesian fusion cuisine and the Sommelier with the selection of varied and reputed wines from the cellar.

Activities

Le Taha’a features a fresh water swimming pool. The pool is next to the beach and surrounded by decked and tiled areas with lounge chairs. It is serviced throughout the day by a pool bar and restaurant "La Plage". Other activities include jet skis, water ski and a tennis court night lighted. A Petanque (Bacci ball) area, kayaks and outrigger canoes, a volleyball court and a beach Jacuzzi are also available on site. The resort has two different boutiques; one offers every day conveniences as well as a large sample of local handicrafts, and the other which features the natural jewels of the resort’s Pacific lagoons, the world famous black pearls.
