Greytown Tours
Customer Feedback
"
One of the things we liked was that we could travel with our own group and modify any trip listed to meet our exact needs.

Settled in 1854, this is New Zealand's first planned inland town and it was intended to be the region's main cetnre. Greytown is a popular weekend and holiday destination. The main street is packed with antique stores and cafes. The soldier’s memorial park is often full of campers during a long weekend or a holiday. Rediscovered and revived in the late 1990's, Greytown's Victorian main street now houses chic cafes, boutiques, galleries, and antique shops. On the outskirts of town, there's Papawai, an important narae and site of the first Maori parliament.
