Set atop 6000 rolling acres of pasture land, the Farm encompasses terrain which is reminiscent of Montana but plunges 800 feet into the sea. Each suite features room-controlled air conditioning, high-speed wireless internet, remote control flatscreen LCD TV, DVD, CD player with iPod connection, a security safe, a fully stocked complimentary mini-bar, walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with heated towel rack, separate WC and shower stalls, oversized bath tub and twin vanities. 180-degree panoramic views of the farm, golf course and Pacific Ocean are enjoyed from each suite's private balcony.
Breakfast is served from 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and features a buffet of local and imported fruits, home-made muesli and cereals, yoghurts and freshly baked pastries. In addition, a hot menu featuring eggs, pancakes, crisp bacon, ham and sausages may be ordered. Lunch is served from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the Lodge. The Lodge lunch menu offers a more extensive range of dishes ranging from sandwiches to three course lunches. The Clubhouse offers a small selection of light options. Sandwiches to eat between nines can be ordered prior to tee-off at the Clubhouse. Lunch is not included in the tariff, but can be charged directly to your suite account. Room service is available on request. The complimentary cocktail hour begins at 6.30 p.m. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a wide range of wines, beer and spirits are served. Dinner is served from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
No visit to the Farm at Cape Kidnappers is complete without a tour of this 6,000 acre working sheep and cattle farm. Explore this magnificent property in four-wheel drive comfort or, for the more adventurous, try a quad bike tour. Whether your pleasure is a short stroll, an early morning jog, or a long walk, you will find them all here at Cape Kidnappers. Walk to the 200 year old Kahikatea tree or jog along Trigg Road which overlooks truly amazing views. For a longer walk head out to the Kanuka Block and enjoy beautiful native bush and inspirational views of the Pacific Ocean. You are invited to relax, rejuvenate and revive your body and spirit at the Spa. Located on the hillside above the Lodge, the spa treatment rooms feature amazing views across the valley towards the sea or over the pine forest to snow crowned Mount Ruapehu.
