Focusing on contemporary Pacific fusion food, the Black Swan offers its guests the opportunity to dine overlooking the lake or to request private dining in the conservatory, grotto or gardens.
Although situated in an oasis of calm, the Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel is only a 5 minute drive from Rotorua City Centre and a 20 minute drive from Rotorua International Airport. The Black Swan is the perfect place to stay in, relax and savour the luxurious facilities although if you wish to venture out there are plenty of recreational activities to enjoy including lake cruises, fishing trips and float plane scenic flights from the private jetty or a helicopter sightseeing trip from the onsite heli-pad.
Each of the beautiful lakeview rooms offer views from your private outdoor terrace out across the courtyard and topiary garden to the lake just beyond. An outdoor stainless steel fire invites you to relax and enjoy the view all year round. Our lakeview rooms offer the same luxury amenities as our lakefront rooms including two king bedded rooms and one family style room with a small separate sleeping alcove. These rooms are located in the eastern wing of the lodge with easy access to the topiary courtyard, the gardens and the lake.
The Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel focuses on contemporary Pacific fusion food and offers its guests the opportunity to dine overlooking the lake or fireside…..also if you wish please feel free to request private dining in the conservatory, grotto or gardens. Breakfast is served in our upstairs dining room from 7am to 10am with divine views out across the lake. Candlelit dinner is served from 6pm starting with canapés and a taste of New Zealand wines followed by a delicious 4 course dinner.
