Standard Deluxe Rooms All rooms are luxuriously appointed with local and international artwork. We only use top quality cushion topped mattresses and 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. All rooms include amenities such as coffee Service, Mini Bar Refrigerator, Safe Deposit Box, Satellite TV, AC and Ceiling Fans, King Bed or 2 Full Size Beds, and Private Balcony with Volcano View.

Las Casitas are in a separate building set high on a hill. Each unit has a large master bedroom with large bathroom, living room and small second bedroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds and can accommodate a crib. Half bath off living room. Huge balcony/patio with extra large Jacuzzi. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee service.

The Lost Iguana's tropical open air Restaurant and Palapa Bar offers excellent food with nightly live music. Live music is played by talented flamenco guitarists and sometimes a fun sax player takes the stage. You can stop at any local restaurant and feel welcome, as well. Most menus are in Spanish and English. The food is simple and not spicy. When in doubt order rice with chicken (arroz con pollo). It is a common plate of rice mixed with chicken and some vegetables. It is somewhat bland, but good and always safe.

The Lost Iguana's spectacular double pool with swim up bar is a popular hang out. Relax in the heated upper level with sunning shelf and built in seats, or play under the waterfall in the large lower swimming area. Relax and enjoy the beauty of the jungle from your balcony. The hotel has some beautiful paths that will let you explore the rain forest.

The spa has a gymnasium, changing rooms with saunas, large reception and private massage bungalows with fireplaces by the river. The spa’s excellent therapists will pamper your tired muscles while you relax to the living music of nature. The sounds of a cascading river, birds, howler monkeys, toucans, and an occasional rumble by the volcano will make your treatment an unforgettable experience.
