The famed Monteverde Lodge provides ground floor Forest View Standard Rooms equipped with two double beds, a corner bay window with two wicker chairs and a coffee table designed to create the feeling that you`ve been put directly into the forest. Each Standard Room also features a glass enclosed shower, solar heated hot water, in-room safe, coffee maker, alarm clock, ceiling fan, reading lamps, hair dryer and laundry bag.

The Monteverde Lodge offers second floor Forest View Balcony Rooms which feature two double beds (king beds are available on a limited basis on request), and a private balcony with a Cloud Forest views, two wooden chairs and a coffee table. This room also features a glass enclosed shower, solar heated hot water, in-room safe, coffee maker, alarm clock, ceiling fan, reading lamps, hair dryer and laundry bag.

Begin and end your days in the El Jardin Restaurant at Monteverde Lodge. The diverse menu options feature the freshest local produce simply prepared. All meals include fresh homemade bread. The gardens have some truly special plants such as Tree Ferns, Imperial Bromeliads and Anthuriums. There are also many species of orchids, white and purple Agapanthus, Hydrangeas and much more. Starting at the back terrace, a stream meanders to a pond where there is a wooden deck often enjoyed by guests for garden breakfasts, picnic lunches and romantic dinners by candlelight. As you continue to explore you will find the amphitheatre and further down the trail the lookout point, a great location to sit and take in the beauty of the Cloud Forest or star gaze at night.
