Xandari Resort & Spa is a tropical paradise of 22 individually designed villas nestled on a 40 acre plantation overlooking the Central Valley of Costa Rica, and only 20 minutes from the San Jose International Airport. At an elevation of 3900 feet (1200 meters), Xandari enjoys a near–perfect temperature of around 70 degrees Fahrenheit all year. Their spa village is set in a tropical garden and includes 5 private palm–roofed jalapas with jacuzzis and a picturesque view of the Central Valley. PRIMA VILLAS are spacious villas of approximately 500 sq. ft. Most Prima villas have two full beds, and two Prima villas have king beds. All Prima villas have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, and a bar kitchen with small refrigerator. PRIMA PLUS VILLAS are similar in size to Prima villas, with a bar kitchen and small refrigerator along with other great features. ULTRA VILLAS are larger, approximately 735 sq. ft. All have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, and a bar kitchen with a small refrigerator. ULTRA PLUS VILLAS are our largest villas, approximately 820 sq. ft.. They have a king bed and two convertible sofa beds, a Roman bathtub overlooking a private garden in addition to the shower. Each has a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, and a generous bar kitchen with small refrigerator.

Dining. Our indoor/outdoor restaurant features a healthy continental and Costa Rican menu. Many of the fruits and vegetables are from their very own organic greenhouse, orchard and gardens. Dine in intimate and elegant simplicity while enjoying a panoramic view of the Central Valley.
Gardens: Stroll through our botanic gardens and view a wide variety of extraordinary tropical plants, some marked with their popular and technical names.You may find a camera essential! Observe many species of tropical birds attracted by our plantings and the natural forest. Listen to their enchanting songs. Nature Trails: Hike more than 4km of trails through our natural tropical jungle to river views and five waterfalls, one over 40ft. long! Spa Village: There are 5 jalapas with hot tubs on the hillside, where you may enjoy a massage, wrap, facial and/or private soak... all in your own very private jalapa. Swimming Pools: We have two heated 60 ft. long lap pools, one with an outdoor jacuzzi. And our newest Sunset Pool is 125 ft. long with a stunning view of the Central Valley and an additional jacuzzi.
