The first visit that we would recommend is Central Park, an ideal place to meet people. Also known as the Plaza Mayor, is the heart of the city. Architecture in Antigua is the main attraction. There are temples that are still functioning as the Church and Convent of La Merced, built around 1751 and 1767. There are other temples and monasteries as El Arco de Santa Catalina, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Capuchin, San Geronimo, The Collection, The Society of Jesus, among others. All these serves as outdoor architectural museum.
