Ni’tun Private Reserve is a perfect setting to relax and assimilate the experiences lived. Days spent in the jungle, trekking through the mud, watching birds and animals, learning about this immense natural rainforest are then ended by enjoying the crystalline waters of Lake Petén Itzá. Ni'tun Private Reserve is very much concerned and involved in ecology and conservation and that is why we take all the right steps to keep the lake waters pristine, forests clean and the environment peaceful.
The hotel, Nitún Private Reserve, is located in a unique jungle setting. All rooms are decorated with handcrafted lamps, original paintings and beautiful indigenous bedspreads and carpets. All of the rooms have private bathroom with spacious hot and cold water showers. All rooms have views to the forest or to the lake. The center of Ni’tun is the two-story open house with restaurant, kitchen and bathrooms in the lower level and bar and living room in the second level.

Restaurant & Bar: open also for dinner upon reservation. The heart of Ni’tun is certainly in the kitchen where the owners love to cook and prepare daily dishes… most of the recipes are exclusive to Nitun and ingredients are local fresh buys.
Amenities include restaurant and bar, private lake terrace and dock. Visits to local ruins and archaeological sites, such as Tikal and Palenque, river boat tours and nature/animal observation.
