One Bedroom Bungalow

The One-Bedroom Bungalow is an intimate retreat directly on the beach, just steps from the Caribbean Sea. There are only two of these bungalows, and they’re the perfect choice for a couple’s vacation, whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary, or just want a tropical escape to sunny Roatan! Each bungalow features these luxury amenities: king-size Heavenly Bed (can be configured as two extra-long twin beds), 32” flat screen TV, Apple TV with Netflix, High-speed internet, en suite bathroom with Balinese shower and L’Occitane bath products, programmable safe, kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and coffee maker with bean grinder, covered deck with seating, stepping down to the sand and the Caribbean Sea, private beach area with hammock and lounge chairs.

The tropical accommodations are designed to make use of the breezes, views, and proximity to the sea. The bungalows have ceiling fans and are also air conditioned for those days when the trade winds are lazy. The purified water is potable from the tap. Each bedroom has a 32″ flat-screen TV with Apple TV and Cable TV. The ultra-comfortable Heavenly beds have high-quality linens and goose down pillows, with the option to have synthetic pillows if you prefer. Wireless internet is available throughout the resort, in addition to a hard-wire and wireless connection at the desk in every bedroom. The spacious Balinese showers provide a unique experience with semi-open roofs.

Two Bedroom Villa

Barefoot Cay has four accommodations that are right on the beach. Two are bungalows that have one bedroom each, and two are villas that have two bedrooms each. All the bedrooms are spacious with desk, dresser, and window seat, and all feature the ultra-comfortable Heavenly Beds. The bathrooms are well designed with large Balinese partially open-air showers. Each bungalow has a well-equipped kitchen with an eating area and a covered deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You'll walk out of the bungalows to the covered porch, then right onto the white sand beach. The two-bedroom villas also have a spacious living room that opens onto the large covered deck with wide steps to the beach.

The delicious meals are a highlight of staying at Barefoot Cay Resort. You’ll be the envy of the island, as meal and beverage services are available only to guests of the resort. There’s excellent snorkeling in the “house reef” right off the Barefoot Cay Resort palapa, where a wide variety of marine life occupies the reef inside the breakwater reef wall. Just a short distance from the palapa is Barefoot Cay’s own small sunken boat wreck that is attracting sea life its their hidey-holes. Snorkel-mask-fin sets are available for guests at no charge. The “T” shaped swimming pool has long steps and seats, a shallow area for play, two 50-foot lap lanes, and five whirlpool jets. Part of the pool is covered by a sun-filtering palapa to provide shade.
