Barefoot Cay and its active, inviting island environment is a favorite among visitors to the Honduras. The four accommodations are villas and bungalows with six bedrooms in total, each selectively decorated with influences from around the world. Bathrooms offer open-air showers, for an especially delightful experience. The Heavenly Beds brand make for lush rest. Meals are very flexible, with the guest calling the shots and requesting meals and ingredients as they choose. Fresh seafood is in abundance for those who really want to live the island life. Otherwise, one may visit Roatan and try the local restaurants. Sit down to a drink at the pool cabana, slip into the clear blue water, or try any of the multitudes of water play activities. Barefoot Cay has four accommodations that are right on the beach. Two are bungalows that have one bedroom each, and two are villas that have two bedrooms each. All the bedrooms are spacious with desk, dresser, and window seat, and all feature the ultra-comfortable Heavenly Beds. The bathrooms are well designed with large Balinese partially open-air showers. Each bungalow has a well-equipped kitchen with an eating area and a covered deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You'll walk out of the bungalows to the covered porch, then right onto the white sand beach. The two-bedroom villas also have a spacious living room that opens onto the large covered deck with wide steps to the beach.

Meal and beverage services are available only to guests of the cay. Served in the pool cabana or in your bungalow or villa, you can select from yummy preparations of local or imported foods and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and blended drinks. Many of our guests have some meals here, as well as enjoying some of Roatan's restaurants and preparing some meals in their rooms. Other guests want us to prepare all of their meals. The decision can be made on a day-to-day basis. We serve a variety of preparations that include local specialties, such as shrimp, lobster, and fish, as well as chicken and other meats. Meal Plan is an additional cost, please enquire if you would like to add this.
The Pool Cabana The 32’ X 32’ two-story pool cabana building, located on the east end of the pool deck, provides a place sheltered from the sun to gather, read a book, play cards, watch a game, have a drink, or enjoy a meal prepared in the cabana’s kitchen. The tropical wood louvers allow air to flow through, and the ceiling fans bring comfort, even on the warmest of days. The audio-visual equipment with Bose sound system is designed to be utilized for guest enjoyment. The upper floor observation deck is open on all four sides to the views all around. It’s another great place on Barefoot Cay to get away to your own world! Spa Massage is available right here on Barefoot Cay, in addition to manicure and pedicure services. A treadmill, elliptical, stationary bicycle, and free weights are also available
