The One-Bedroom Bungalow is an intimate retreat directly on the beach, just steps from the Caribbean Sea. There are only two of these bungalows, and they’re the perfect choice for a couple’s vacation, whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary, or just want a tropical escape to sunny Roatan! Each bungalow features these luxury amenities: king-size Heavenly Bed (can be configured as two extra-long twin beds), 32” flat screen TV, Apple TV with Netflix, High-speed internet, en suite bathroom with Balinese shower and L’Occitane bath products, programmable safe, kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and coffee maker with bean grinder, covered deck with seating, stepping down to the sand and the Caribbean Sea, private beach area with hammock and lounge chairs.
The tropical accommodations are designed to make use of the breezes, views, and proximity to the sea. The bungalows have ceiling fans and are also air conditioned for those days when the trade winds are lazy. The purified water is potable from the tap. Each bedroom has a 32″ flat-screen TV with Apple TV and Cable TV. Barefoot Cay has four accommodations that are right on the beach. Two are bungalows that have one bedroom each, and two are villas that have two bedrooms each. All the bedrooms are spacious with desk, dresser, and window seat, and all feature the ultra-comfortable Heavenly Beds. The bathrooms are well designed with large Balinese partially open-air showers. Each bungalow has a well-equipped kitchen with an eating area and a covered deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You'll walk out of the bungalows to the covered porch, then right onto the white sand beach. The two-bedroom villas also have a spacious living room that opens onto the large covered deck with wide steps to the beach.
The delicious meals are a highlight of staying at Barefoot Cay Resort. You’ll be the envy of the island, as meal and beverage services are available only to guests of the resort. Meals may be served in the pool cabana, or enjoy room service to your bungalow, loft, villa, or boat.
